Cranes and EquipmentArea takes great pride in showcasing our equipment on jobsites. Areas staff can create a complete hoisting analysis for each project including capacity charts, wind reductions, rigging diagrams, ground pressures and detailed crane locations sketches to help coordinate with other jobsite activities. All hoisting operations are closely examined by project managers, field superintendents, and the safety department prior to mobilization so that any and all hazards are then communicated to field personnel. Area Erectors owns over 20 cranes ranging from 20 ton to 300 ton. Area also owns and maintains several aerial lifts, scissor lifts, rough terrain forklifts, and offers complete trucking services.
With in-house maintenance personnel, Area can minimize downtime by managing preventative maintenance and addressing problems immediately. If required, Area will outsource repairs to third party facilities as well. Areas crane fleet undergoes thorough inspection by our operators. Daily inspections are completed by the operator and those are turned into the office so that any items noted can be handled in a timely manner. Although federal guidelines only require that third party inspections be done annually, each of Areas cranes receives two third party inspections each year. In certain instances Area will outsource its equipment needs. All crane and equipment vendors are expected to meet Areas high standards in regards to safety. Vendors who cannot meet our demands will not be utilized. Utilizing equipment already on site can save money. If youre interested in renting a piece of equipment that is currently on a jobsite, contact Areas project manager or field superintendent for more information.
